ABOUT MAVERICK SERVICES

Clay Floyd started building in 1988 with a simple lean-to for his grandfather's tractor. Enjoying the planning, materials procurement and project execution, a spark was lit. Next was volunteering at building community centers in North Carolina and Texas - learning large scale production from dirtwork, foundation, concrete to paint and even ensuring crews were fed. He found building and working with people in construction to be his passion - growing into building hotels and renovating apartment buildings including full exterior reclads and windows.

 

Relocating to the Pacific Northwest in 2001, he progressed from carpenter, Superintendent, Project Manager, Director of Construction, Vice President and on to President/Co-Owner of a commercial general contracting firm performing both unit interior renovations and capital improvements - receiving NAA/WMFHA Industry Partner of the Year Emerald Award.  (What a humbling experience)

 

The time was right to build a capital-improvement-focused company, helping reduce project costs for project stakeholders, making it the time to 'Expect Better and Capture Owner Objectives' as the main focus.  Meet Maverick Services.
